Kilts, confetti and rock 'n' roll
Congrautlations to Richard and Annia who celebrated their wedding over a two-day stylish extravananza. Proceedings beagn with an understated little nuptial mass in Westminster Cathedral. The bride processed in to Swanny's arrangement of Glorious Day by Embrace, an emotional rock ballad set for bass, tenors and alto. The happy couple looked radiant of course, but the fact that therre were about 15 men in kilts really added to the occasion, and attracted a horde of snapping tourists outside the church. The wedding party was held on the Sunday night. With a 50s prom theme, it was swinging like an American high school ball, with polka dots and chequers and live rock 'n' roll. Watching the four Mogendorff brothers play together was a joy, and this must be the only wedding I've been to where the bride and groom were the cabaret act. What a glamorous and talented pair they make.
